Perhaps the most majestic of all freshwater fish. These elusive ocean run trout return to their natal rivers to spawn instilled with a strength, wariness and ballistic fighting behavior from this journey that in our (and many others) opinion makes them the most amazing animals and enjoyable adversaries to do battle with. The steelhead runs on our rivers are typically very consistent (some of the very best in the country actually) and run from October through the winter and into March. These fish are special and should be on every fisherman's bucket list, if not already an object of their obsession. Day trips for one or two fisherman start at $525 (plus tax).
These tenacious fish bite and fight like crazy! Now throw in the facts that the population in our river is huge and they can easily attain sizes in excess of four pounds and you have a recipe for one of most fun experiences to be had doing anything! These cooperative fish make great trips for seasoned adults who just want to battle, battle, battle, as well as kids who need a steady stream of action! The smallmouth on the Grande Ronde and Snake rivers are simply put, a under fished gold mine of fun! The bite is hot from May to September and trips start at just $500 (plus tax). Please give us a call for more details or to make arrangements on your next fishing adventure!
(thats right carp!)
Want to try your hand at a super technical species that will both challenge you and just plan make you a better fisherman? Carp are the answer then! Affectionately called golden-bones by those in the know, carp are simply put a blast and love to remind you that backing knots are very (again-VERY) important and should be well tied! We can wade or float for these beasts. They also have the added benefit of cult status so there is not a lot of crowding on the carp flats. Price $500 (plus tax). (Also, can usually be combined with bass trips)
